"It was so refreshing to learn the difference between stressors and stress response. To discuss general sources of stress, to learn how to recognise the signs and symptoms of stress response in myself and others. and to learn for the first time that we decide what is stressful for us and how we do this. To understand that our stress response has nothing to do with the stressors in our lives, but everything to do with the state of mind we’re in at the time of the stressor. It was very interesting to learn what our stress response consists off, and how our physiological, biological and psychological responses change our internal make-up; and how we are all ‘wired’ the same way. It was very helpful to hear how stressors influence workplace culture, performance, productivity and stress related to illness. I honestly had never learned so much in a stress management workshop before, Joan was very good at presenting the information in a simple and very interesting way. This workshop is informative and educational, I learned a lot. I particularly enjoyed the interactive parts, they provoked intelligent discussions and learning avenues. I recommend this workshop to all managers."

"The Stress and Stress Response guest lecture and presentation was extremely interesting. I learned why I need to de-stress regularly and resolve my stressors as soon as possible. I know now why I get so uptight about a lot of things and what I need to do to relax more and improve my health and wellbeing. Got great tips and information".
" I very much enjoyed the round table given by Mind Synergy Int. at the Wellbeing @ Work Event September 2018. It was very interesting and very informative. Keep up the good work."
