It was so refreshing to learn the difference between stressors and stress response, to discuss general sources of stress, to learn how to recognise the signs and symptoms of stress response in myself and others and to learn for the first time that we decide what is stressful for us and how we do this.
It was very interesting to learn how our physiological, biological and psychological stress responses change our internal make-up; and how we are all ‘wired’ the same way. I recommend this interactive workshop to everyone, we all need this knowledge to be able to stay healthy. I learned a lot from Joan, she is an excellent teacher, she presents this workshop in a dynamic and very enjoyable way.

The Stress and Stress Response guest lecture and presentation was extremely interesting. I learned why
I need to de-stress regularly and resolve my stressors as soon as possible. I know now why I get so uptight about a lot of things and what I need to do to relax more and improve my health and wellbeing. Got great tips and information.
