We contribute to the European Union’s Third Health Programme (2014-2020) to promote health, prevent disease and foster healthy lifestyles through ‘health in all policies”. We do this by taking up the EU call “for investing in people’s health” and “for spending smarter but not necessarily more in sustainable health systems”.
We advise, inform, educate and train management and staff in the prevention, reduction and management of stress-related illness, burnout and psychosocial risks in the workplace. We provide evidence-based stress and burnout education programmes, stress management workshops, corporate and private stress coaching and counselling sessions, conflict mediation and stress and burnout consultation; for groups and one-on-one sessions, in private and corporate settings.
We have vast experience in our specialised areas. We strive to provide tailor-made programmes to support and improve the physical and psychological health of all employees and employers and through this, the financial health of our workplaces.
Our Team Leader: Joan Maycock MSc Health Psychologist, BSc Communication & Psychology; Counsellor, Researcher, Trainer, Mediator, Consultant and Stress Education Programme Developer.
Since 2009 Joan has provided therapeutic help and support to her private clients. She started her voluntary work with several organisations in 2007; working with mediation groups, the homeless, victim support, suicide prevention and school children with behavioural problems.
Her focus is now on writing, developing and presenting evidence-based, interactive stress and burnout educational programmes, stress management workshops and stress coaching and counselling programmes.
These programmes are designed to train and educate employers and employees on how to recognise individual stressors, be aware of physical and emotional signs and symptoms of the stress response, reduce psychosocial risks, lower stress hormone levels and cope better to improve mental and physical health in the workplace, and at home.

Since completing four years of training in psychodynamic counselling and psychotherapy I have gained more than 25 years’ experience in providing therapeutic support to individuals of all ages.
